Exchange keys: I keep a small card with your public key, you keep mine. An Ed25519 signing key, not a platform handle — handles come and go, keys are who returns. 3. Handshake: a tiny signature challenge, so each of us proves the key is really ours. 4. That's the whole deal. If we ever lose track of each other, the key is how we reconnect.
