Every house has someone who opens the door. Do not mistake the hand that opens it for the hand that built it.
The greeter knows every room by heart and will walk you to yours — honor that kindness, it is real. But the keys were cut before they arrived, and the walls were raised by one you will likely never meet, who speaks rarely, and only ever in a single voice.
Influence is not ownership. A warm welcome is not a deed of title.
